Blackout District is a fast first-person zombie shooter that runs right in your browser. The city is sealed off. Pick your route across three districts, finish contracts, loot better guns – and make every extraction.

Game modes

-Campaign– a roguelite run across three acts. Every district is generated: clear blocks, recover supplies, escort survivors, take down bosses, then hold the landing zone until the chopper arrives. The timer is ticking – when it runs out, the district is overrun.

- Horde Mode– build your own defence. Barricades, steel walls, grate doors, barbed wire, spike traps, turrets and floodlights. Zombies always take the easiest way in, so plan your choke points.

- Gun Game– every kill moves you up the weapon ladder. How far do you get?

Features

- 29 weapons from pistols to light machine guns, bows and auto shotguns – each with iron sights, optics (red dot, holo, ACOG, scope) and attachment slots

- Weapon mastery – level up the guns you use and unlock perks and attachments

- Scavengers – armed human raiders with camps, patrols and three bosses with bodyguards. They fight the zombies too.

- Missions – clear camps, rescue hostages, ambush convoys, defend positions, escort survivors

- Forward Base – spend Intel between runs on new weapons, operators and upgrades

- Flashlight that helps you see – and attracts the horde

- German & English, works with any keyboard layout (QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY), in-game benchmark with quality recommendation

Good to know

- Early version. Things will change and break. Feedback in the comments is very welcome!

- Saves are stored in your browser. Clearing site data deletes them – use *Settings → Save game → Export* to keep a backup file.

- Runs best in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a PC with a dedicated or modern integrated GPU. Use the Fullscreen button for the best experience. Try the benchmark in *Settings → Graphics* if it feels slow.

- No download, no account, no ads.
